Kathmandu to Nagarkot Sunrise View

The day trips begins when it is still dark around 04:300 AM, depends upon the season as a private vehicle with driver and guide will be there to pick up and transfer. You will make the way toward Nagarkot Hill which is about 42 Km (2 Hours Drive) to watch the sunrise over the mighty Himalayan Mountain range including Mount Everest, Manaslu, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and many others. Nagarkot Hill (2175m) is a popular tourist hill situated east of the Kathmandu Valley. You will find numbers of tourists who visit only for the best sunrise views and the mountain views. Enjoy the hearty breakfast after a sunrise view at one of restaurants at Nagarkot.

Nagarkot to Changu Narayan Hiking

Guide will lead you towards the Changu Narayan trail. It is around 3 to 4 Hours easy hike that follows Brahmin, Tamang, and Newari villages. You will hike easy downhill through the local village, terraced farms on hillsides that overlook Kathmandu Valley. You may encounter local culture and lifestyle. We take the graveled road and local trail that lead to Changunarayan temple, one of the oldest temples in the valley. On the Lunch you will also get opportunity to experience Newari food in Changu Narayan.

Visit to Bhaktapur Durbar Square

The return trip to Kathmandu also includes visit to marvelous Bhakatapur Durbar Square for Sightseeing. Explore 55 window palace, Taleju temple, Royal bath, Bhaktapur museum, pottery square, Nyatapole temple, Dattratraya temple and many more. It is rich in cultures, temples, arts and crafts. Afterward, Drive back to Kathmandu. Early in the morning, about 4:30, pick up from your hotel and drive for about an hour to Nagarkot. Enjoy the Himalayan scenery and sunrise. Breakfast is provided around the Nagarkot, and then you hike to Changunarayan. You will be led by our hiking guide to Changunarayan and Sightseeing of UNESCO-listed temple of Changu Narayan Temple. We take a journey back to Kathmandu after lunch. You have the choice to visit Bhaktapur for sightseeing on the way back to Kathmandu.

Today Early Morning around 04:30 AM, you will be picked up by our representative from your Hotel and drive to Nagarkot. Departing in the City while the sky is still dark, Our private vehicle takes around 2 hour (42 km) to reach Nagarkot Hill. Upon arrival, you will get chance to watch the sunrise over the mighty Himalayan Mountain range including Mount Everest, Manaslu, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and many others. After sunrise view, we will stop at a restaurant in Nagarkot for Breakfast, then begin our trail towards Changu Narayan. It is around 3 to 4 Hours easy hike that follows Brahmin, Tamang, and Newari villages. You will hike easy downhill through the local village, terraced farms on hillsides that overlook Kathmandu Valley. You may encounter local culture and lifstyle. Visit Chagunarayan Temple, oldest traditional Hindu Temple. It is believed that this temple is the oldest temple of Nepal, built in about 400 AD. Have the option to try Newari dishes at small restaurants for an authentic local experience.

After Lunch You have option to drive back to kathmandu or visit marvelous Bhakatapur Durbar Square for Sightseeing. Explore 55 window palace, Taleju temple, Royal bath, Bhaktapur museum, pottery square, Nyatapole temple, Dattratraya temple and many more. While you are at Bhaktapur, you can also try the famous curd named Juju Dhau. Afterward, Drive back to Kathmandu.

    Nagarkot Sunrise & Hike to ChanguNarayan

    Recently, my friend and myself did a Himalayan dawn from Nagarkot to changunarayan, We leave Kathmandu early in the morning around 04:00 AM with our guide Ramesh from Aspiration Adventure. timing of the sunrise was accurate and we enjoying a hot cup of Nepali coffee with light breakfast, and hike down to changunarayan.
