Jomsom Muktinath Trekking is another wonderful route in Annapurna and Mustang Region that leads you to famous Muktinath Temple of Nepal. This trek includes the deepest gorge of the world at Kaligandaki river. Any age group having moderate level of fitness can complete this trek. It is one of the journey to experience the different cultural and also give a fascinating insight into the living lifestyle of rural people. On Jomsom trekking trip we take you to most sought destination, the hot spring at Tatopani, the 108 spouts temple of Muktinath, landscapes of Kagbeni, the apple fields of Marpha,  Tibetan monasteries with their prayer wheels and flags and Hike to Poonhill for wonderful vista of sunrise over the snow-capped mountain. This trek is recommended year round as most of this trek is always in the rain shadow.

Jomsom Muktinath Trekking begins in Kathmandu, where you will get ample opportunity to visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites and shopping necessary things you might need for your trip. Nextly, Drive to Pokhara along the banks of the Trishuli River, traditional villages, terraced field and have some fantastic picturesque views to the Himalayan Range. Initially, trek starts with a 20 minutes flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. We will trek along the Kali Gandaki River which is the deepest gorge on earth and to Muktinath Temple via Kagbeni. Muktinath is a Vishnu temple, venerated sacred place to both Hindus and Buddhists in Nepal. Muktinath Temple word is derived from Mukti and Nath. “Mukti” means “Salvation or Nirvana” and “Nath” mean “God or Master”.

The trail pass through Jharkot and Khingar villages with came across the typical Tibetan architecture to Marhpa Village. It is just one of the interesting villages of orchards on the route. The houses of the village have flat roofs and whitewashed walls. As village is famous for Apple garden, do not miss to eat Apple Pie and Apple Juice. Further from Marphpa we walk to Tatopani via Ghasa. Rest aside and dip in the rejuvenating hot spring. Leaving the Kali Gandaki behind us we will came across the lush rhododendron forest, terrace field and mountainside in front of us which take us to Poonhill. Grab a cup of tea and catch breathtaking views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchare, Hiunchuli, Manaslu, Lamjung and many more. Afterward, We descend to the Banthanti, then turn off to Tadapani and drive back to Pokhara via Nayapul.

As the trail pass by you will experience two types of landscape which are Tibetan plateau landscape in Jomsom Muktinath area and dense forest areas of Poonhill. The major attraction are Jomsom, Kagbeni, Muktinath Temple, Marpha, Natural hot spring and the popular view point Poon Hill. It is also the trail of Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Today, we will start early for a seven hour long drive to Pokhara. We will head towards west leaving the valley and continue towards Highway. We drive along the banks of the Trishuli River, traditional villages, terraced field and have some fantastic picturesque views to the Himalayan Range. Free time on your own to take rest and comfortably enjoy the beautiful surrounding views around lakeside of Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

Early in the morning drive to Pokhara airport for flight to Jomosm airport. Flight are only operated in the morning from 6:30 till 11:00 am. After 15 to 20 minutes flight you will reach to Jomsom then start trek to Kagbeni alongside Kali Gandaki and walk to Eklai Bhatti. You will encounter with small monasteries and colorful Chortens. After 3 Hours walk, we reaches to Kagbeni (2,858 m/9,375 ft), which lies at the bank of two rivers Kali Gandaki (flows from Muktinath) and Nilgiri river. Overnight at Lodge in Kagbeni. After Breakfast at Kagbeni, We will start our trek to Muktinath. We will have a special permit check then trail leads on to the Kaligandaki plains in the rainy season. As it is gradually walking where you can enjoy the beautiful deserted landscape until Jarkot Village. We also came across route that differ from one higher up leads to Muktinath and the other route takes us to upper Mustang. As we turn east away from the Kali Gandaki river there are views to Muktinath, a sacred temple for both the Hindu and Buddhist. Explore Muktinath Temple, 108 taps, Kunda, Jwala Mai Temple, Gomba Samba, Swaminarayan, Shaligram along with beautiful Natural View. Overnight at Lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)

After Breakfast, we begin our trek through descent down the Kali Gandaki Gorge. After passing through Jharkot and Khingar villages with came across the typical Tibetan architecture. On the trail, we will see spectacular mountains view including Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri before descending to Lupra Rivers. After around 5 hours walk, we will reach Marhpa Village. The local apple brandy and sweet apples is well-known. As village is famous for Apple garden, do not miss to eat Apple Pie and Apple Juice. After Breakfast at Lodge, we head towards Ghasa through dirt road on the west bank of the Kali Gandaki river and village of Khobang with narrow trails. We will cross several suspension bridge, several traditional Thakali villages and join Lete River. We make our way through pine, juniper and cypress forests to reach Kalapani from where we get to see the views of Annapurna and Fang peaks. We enter Ghasa after crossing a Mani wall. Today we begin our trek from the beautiful town of Ghasa to the natural hot springs known as Tatopani. On the way you will get the views of Annapurna (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), and Nilgiri (7061m), also cross several bridges through sub-tropical vegetation. As the trail begins you will gently walk down to the Rupchechhara waterfall, magnificent waterfall tumbles. As you reach Tatopani, famous for its natural hot spring. You can rest aside and dip in the rejuvenating hot spring. It is a decent place to rest and relax after the tiring trek. Overnight at the Lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included)

With a stomach full of breakfast we begin our trek to Ghorepani Village. On the way we cross through the villages of Ghara, Shikha, Phalate and Chitre. Leaving the Kali Gandaki behind us we will came across the lush rhododendron forest, terrace field and mountainside in front of us is pleasing. Today trail is uphill but it will be worth all the hardships. Upon arrival at Ghorepani take rest or explore around the village and prepare yourself for tomorrow early morning hike to Poon Hill. Today we wake up early in the morning and hike up to Poon Hill to catch the first ray of the sun striking the Annapurna Mountain range. These is best marvelous viewpoint of the trip. It takes about 45 minutes to reach the view point. From the Viewpoint of Poonhill you will catch breathtaking views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Dhampus Peak, Nilgiri, Annapurna including Mt. Machhapuchare, Hiunchuli, Manaslu, Lamjung and many more. Grab a cup of tea/coffee and enjoy the awe-inspiring views. After, spending enough time we return back to Ghorepani, take breakfast and continue journey to Tadapani. Along the view of Mountains and village settlement. We descend to the Banthanti, then turn off to Tadapani. Overnight at teahouse in Tadapani. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

You have done it. Today we are going our trek back to Pokhara via Syauli Bazar and Nayapul. The trail continues to descend steeply until you get to Syauli Bazar. You will be reward with the final view of Mountain range, terraced rice fields and the village lifestyle. After short rest, you arrive at Nayapul then get back to Pokhara by Private Vehicle. Upon arrival in Pokhara, Check in Hotel and enjoy completion of trek in relaxed lakeside town. You can find plenty of cafés, restaurants, Pubs with live music and yoga studios. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

After Breakfast at Hotel, We drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoy view of green sceneries, terrace fields, Trsihuli River and vegetable fields. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 25 minutes. After reach in Kathmandu, Guide will transfer you to hotel. Take Rest Or explore around the cities. In the evening, there will be a Farewell Dinner hosted by Aspiration Adventure to celebrate the successful completion of trip. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab hygenic breakfast, then take last-minute shopping and explore around the market or relax at hotel in Kathmandu. Our airport representative will drop you to the airport for your International flight as per your flight schedule. We will exchange our good-byes and now you will be leaving Nepal, armed with all the good memories and unforgettable Experience. Accomodation

We will accommodate you in the deluxe 3-Star Hotel in Kathmandu. During the trek standard, clean and comfortable teahouses/lodge. All the Accommodations are on twin sharing basis. However, Single Supplement can be provided upon request at additional cost. Please be informed that Single Supplement are easily available in Kathmandu but during trekking especially in higher altitude may not be feasible to get a single room. Breakfast and dinner will be served from teahouses/lodge menu where we spend the night whereas, lunch will be served on the way to the next destination. In the city, Breakfast will Served whereas, there will be Complementary welcome and farewell dinner. Please be Noted that, Upon the extra Cost you can upgrade to luxurious five-star hotel in cities.
