Mohare Danda Khopra Trek is adventure trekking trail in Annapurna Dhaulagiri Community Eco Lodge which take you to Khopra Danda, Mohare Danda (3300m) and Khayer Lake. This trek is one of the best moderate trekking in Annapurna Region that passes through two spectacular Himalayan viewpoints Mohare Danda and Khopra Dana. These route is far less visited than the well known touristy trek to Poon Hill. You will pass through the well known village, which offers opportunity to be a part of their family in the local community lodge and teahouses.
Both the hills, Mohare and Khopra Hills have lodge at the summit so when you wake up just step outside and enjoy the magnificent Sunrise view over the Himalayan range with a cup of hot tea in hand. On the trip you will have spectacular view of massive Himalayas including Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchchhre (fishtail) 6997m, Dhaulagiri 8167m, Annapurna I 8091m, Nilgiri 6940m, and many other snow-topped mountains. The route passes through the some of the traditional villages settlement of indigenous group displaying culture, tradition and perfectly terraced cultivated landscapes.
There are various alternative option available for these itineraries. Most of the trekkers prefer to incorporate with a route to Ghandruk via Tadapani. However, there is option to include Tatopani (Hot Spring) at the end of trip.
