Best Time for Trip
Luxury Everest Heli Tour can be done throughout the year, but Spring during the month of March, April, May and Autumn Season during the month of September, October, November are regard as the best time for this trip. As during these time you will find moderate temperatures and provide better view of mountains, less heat haze cloud and clear views of mountains. As, these is easy trip up to Namche Bazaar, followed by helicopter flight so, we can conduct trip throughout the year. Also be noted that this trip can be done during monsoon (Mid June, July, August) and winter seasons (Mid December, January, February). The trail is bit slippery and surrounding is colder.
Visa Requirements
If you are travelling to Nepal for (tour, sightseeing, travel, trekking, mountaineering, visiting friends and families) then you need to have a visa to enter Nepal. Arrival Visa is available at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu’s where you can simply get the “On Arrival Visa” with the application that require at least a passport of 6 months’ validity, and a passport size photo. You will be charged USD $ 30 for 15 days and USD $ 50 for 30 days as visa application fee which have to be paid in cash on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you do not need a visa (Free Visa). Most visitors will be able to obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport. The Certain country (Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria) are requested to acquire Visa prior their arrival from their local Diplomatic missions (Embassies/Consulates) of Nepal Government.
Accommodation During the Tour
During your trip you will stay two nights’ at Everest View hotel with full board meals and two nights’ at 5 Star Hotel in Kathmandu. The Hotel Everest View provide a high level of service with landscaped gardens, comfortable restaurant and staying in en suite rooms with comfortable beds with sheets, blankets, down pillows, hot water bottles and western toilets. You will have spacious rooms, furnished with high quality, modern furnishings but in traditional style rooms provide comfort with charm, modern functionality with Sherpa detailing, a wonderful place to rest and replenish. All accommodations are on twin sharing basis. In the cities, you will be staying at 5 Star Luxury Hotel in Kathmandu (Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, Radisson Hotel Kathmandu or Similar). During your trip in Everest Region you will stay at Everest View Hotel and 5-Star Hotel in Kathmandu. The Everest View Hotel provide a high level of service with a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks, comfortable restaurant and staying in en suite rooms with comfortable beds with sheets, blankets, down pillows, hot water bottles and western toilets. You will have spacious rooms, furnished with high quality, modern furnishings but in traditional style rooms provide comfort with charm, modern functionality, a wonderful place to rest and replenish. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. In Kathmandu, you stay at the 5-Star Hotel. Enjoy the artful architectural decorations of and stay in the lap of luxury, undoubtedly the finest property. All accommodations are on twin sharing basis. However, Single Supplement can be provided upon request at additional cost. Love this trip, but feel it too expensive? Please inquiry us, we have the option of using other Hotels to make the package more reasonable. We are flexible and happy to make that trip happen.
Trip Grade
This itinerary is pretty easier and can be done without previous experience. It is one of the easier trip experience in Everest Region without missing comfort that can be done from the 8 years young to 80 years old. It is high mountain trip so reasonable fitness level is required. It is physically quite easy which involves helicopter from Lukla to Hotel Everest View instead of trekking and only easy hiking around to explore Khumjung Village and Namche Bazaar.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is mandatory for Everest Region Treks. All the trekkers must provide the travel insurance policy certificate to Aspiration Adventure. This is high-altitude trek and quite challenging which means it comes with the risks of altitude sickness and and other unforeseen events. Travel Insurance policy must cover medical and emergency repatriation including helicopter rescue and evacuation expenses at high altitudes. In case of emergencies, we will be using the insurance policy and informational documents you sent us to operate the quick operation. Travel Insurance comes handy in these unexpected situations by covering all of the costs of treatments, medics, and helicopter rescue. There could be comprehensive expenses that might incur due to medical issues or accidents (this includes air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and treatment costs). Please note that we do not arrange or sell insurance.
Transportation & Flight
In this trip, Aspiration Adventure provides all the necessary transportation on private car, regular airlines flight to and from Lukla, Helicopter from Lukla to Hotel Everest View and back. Firstly we provide free arrival and departure service, Please let us know about your international flight for this service. On Arrival Day, you will be warmly welcome by our representative by traditional flower and transfer to respective hotel. For the Lukla flight you will have the Private car for the airport to hotel pick and drop off. Our flights to and from Lukla are through regular airlines twin Otter and Dornier. Similarly, According to your interest we will also private vehicles for tour such as Sightseeing around Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Chitwan, Pokhara or any tour in Nepal upon according to your request.
