What to Expect on the Trail
After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel. Attend a detailed trip briefing and prepare for the journey. Adventure begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by a trek to Phakding and Namche Bazaar. Acclimatize in Namche Bazaar with a short hike to Everest View Hotel. Explore the local markets and monasteries. Trek to Tengboche (3,870m), home to the famous Tengboche Monastery. Enjoy breathtaking views of Ama Dablam and other peaks. Continue to Dingboche (4,410m), a picturesque village surrounded by towering mountains. Spend the day acclimatizing and exploring the area. Trek to Lobuche (4,940m), passing through the memorials of climbers who lost their lives in the Himalayas. Hike to Gorak Shep (5,170m) and then to Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Celebrate your achievement and soak in the views of the Khumbu Icefall. Early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for sunrise views of Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks. You will have the Spare day incase of bad weather on Island Peak. After that, trek back to Namche Bazaar, retracing your steps through Dingboche and Tengboche.
