Annapurna Luxury Lodge Trek begins with your arrival at Kathmandu. The trekking trail passes through traditional settlement like Birethanti, Ghandruk, Landruk, Dhampus and Majgaon. After Breakfast, We take earliest flight to Pokhara. The flight will take approximately 25 minutes, followed by a 1.5 hour drive to Nayapul. Begin your trek by following the trail along a ridge that overlooks the beautiful Pokhara Valley in the lower foothills of the Annapurna range. The route then drops to follow the Modi River Valley where Sanctuary Lodge is located. Today trek is rather easy and a nice way to 'warm up' with around 2 hours walk. A picnic lunch is serve with a late afternoon arrival at the Lodge. Overnight at Sanctuary Lodge. You will also have option to spend a night in pokhara and head off on trek the following day.

After your breakfast at Lodge, we begin our walk through outlying farms following the Modi River Valley. Today we will pass through terraced rice fields and lush forests with spectacular views of Mt. Machhapuchhre. After a relaxing walk of 5 hours, you will reach the Himalaya Lodge at Ghandruk, the early afternoon to a hot lunch served on arrival hot lunch. For sure, you can relax and soak up the views of snow covered peaks from lodge. Overnight at Ker And Downey Lodge (Himalaya Lodge).

Today this morning we enjoy tea and coffee served in the garden with view of sunrise over some of the highest peaks - Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli. After Breakfast, we start our trek to Landruk through steep descent down to the banks of the Modi River. Along the trail, We will be able to see the base of cliffs where the famed honey hunters of Nepal climb up on ropes to collect the hallucinogenic honey of Himalayan wild bees. Cross the Modi River via the suspension bridge and reach the Gurung village of Landruk. Spend the afternoon on a guided exploration of the village. Overnight stay at the Ker and Downey Lodge (La Bee Lodge).

Leaving beautiful Landruk village, today we follows trail along the side of a hill, with gentle ups and downs. We trek through the tiny homesteads through the fairly flat trail with magnificent views of the valley, quaint settlements and village. Today trek is relatively short and we should reach the Gurung Lodge in time to eat lunch. Afterward, Option to Hike and explore around the village. Overnight at Ker And Downey Lodge (Gurung/Mala Lodge).

After Breakfast, We leave Majgaun and continue trek through Patlekhet, and unspoiled village. Today we hike through beautiful sub-tropical forests of rhododendron magnolias, and tree orchids. Along the trail we take a brief Stop in Pothana, a village inhabited by many Tibetan traders who sell souvenirs. Upon arrival at lodge, you will be served hot lunch. Dhampus offers breathtaking views across to the Annapurna where you you can take a short walk into the gorgeous village. Overnight at Ker & Downey Lodge (Basanta Lodge).

After breakfast in the lodge, you will depart along the ridge and descend through the hillside and terraced farmland to the valley. After around 1.5 hour trek we meet the road and our vehicle that will take us back to Pokhara. The drive is about 45 minutes, with an optional stop to visit a Tibetan refugee camp. On arrival in Pokhara transfer to Hotel and the afternoon is free to relax. You can spend time on the lake by boating or explore the lakeside area. Overnight at luxurious hotel in Pokhara.

After Breakfast, If you prefer we can have short sightseeing of Pokhara with boating in Phewa Lake. Flights to Kathmandu offers magnificent views. In the evening, there will be a Farewell Dinner hosted by Aspiration Adventure at one of the Nepali authentic Nepalese restaurant with cultural show to celebrate the successful trekking.

It's your last day in Nepal! Grab hygenic breakfast, then take last-minute shopping and explore around the market or relax at hotel in Kathmandu. Useful Information

Best Time for Trek

Luxury Annapurna Ker and Downey Trek can be done throughout the year, but Spring (March, April & May) and Autumn (September, October & November) are regard as the best time for trekking. As during these time you will find moderate temperatures and provide better view of mountains, less heat haze cloud and clear views of mountains. As, these is easy trek; we can conduct trip throughout the year.

Flight and Transportation

In these trip, you will have the International and Domestic Flight Pick and Drop facilities. You will pick up from hotel around 1.5 hours before flight time in morning and drop to Domestic airport for flight to Pokhara. Upon arrival, you will pick up and transfer to Nayapul, from where the trek begins! At the End of the trek you will meet the private vehicle at Phedi to Drive back Kathmandu. You will have the Domestic Airlines Flight Both way for Kathmandu to Pokhara and Pokhara to Kathmandu. At the end, you may have time to explore around, stroll around Pokhara. About 1.5 hours before your flight, you will be pick from hotel and transfer to Airport for flight back to Kathmandu.

Entry Permits Requirements

Every trekkers going to Annapurna Luxury Trek require two permits which are 1. Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) and 2. TIMS (Tourist Information Management System) Card

To get permits, following information and document are required:

  • Passport Copy and Passport sized photos
  • Dates when trek starts and ends
  • Trekking Route Itinerary
  • Entry and exit points of the trekking
  • Please be noted that, you do not have to pay extra for permit. It is organized and provided in the package by Aspiration Adventure – All of these permit are included in cost.

Physical Condition and Experience Requirements

This trekking itinerary is well known as one of the easiest trek that can be done by any age group and is considered as a family friendly hike as well. The maximum height you will be reaching is 2012 m, which is the Ghandruk. Due to this AMS (Altitude Mountain Sickness) should not be a problem for trekkers. It is one of the famous easy and short trek in Nepal. It is popular for all the age group with children so, it is not a difficult trek. Trekking grade is easy with around 3 to 5 hours trek for 6 days.

    Annapurna Foothills Gentle Trekking and Luxury Lodges - Best Experience

    The hikes and Himalayan views were spectacular. The food was consistently of high quality. Excellent customer service and support from local service providers. Great trekking experience; roughly 4-5 hours of walking per day through stunning landscape and secluded settlements. Excellent guide service, accommodation at Ker and Downey’s and food. We will definitely be using Aspiration Adventure for our next trip to Nepal and Bhutan.

    Annapurna and Chitwan in Luxury !! Fantastic way to see Nepal

    Wonderful Trip in Himalayas - this was our first visit to Nepal, We were only a group of 7 and felt like a very personal trip. we were definitely able to experience a lot within the time. Great varied holiday, from kathmandu city visits, trekking in the foothills of the Himalayas and a jungle safari to see the rhino. From Arrival in Kathmandu to mountain lodges of Annapurna, such wonderful hospitality made it all worth and all the arrangement was great. Everyone is so friendly - we Namaste'd a lot! A very talented Guide/Trekking Leader that we highly recommend ! Thanks for a superb experience !
