Ways to Reach Namche Bazaar from Phaplu

There are numerous wasy to reach Namche Bazaar from Phaplu. Trekking from Phaplu and then following the classicial trekking tail of Nunthala, Buspa, Kharikhola, Puiyan and then reaching the main trail of Namche Bazaar. Another Option is taking the Jeep from Phpalu to Thamdanda or Buspa and trekking to Lukla. The distance between Phaplu and Namche Bazaar is roughly 65 kilometers. An averagely fit hiker will need three to four days for this. It can be completed in two exhausting days if you are walking fast with light bagpack.

Permits Required for trek while flying from Phaplu

Similar to the option taking flight to Lukla, you do not require any additional permits while trekking from Salleri Phaplu. You will require two permits for the trekking route in Everest Region (Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lakes and Three Passes). You can get them easily on the trails.

Khumbu Rural Municipality Permit: Trekkers will get this permits at Lukla if they are taking a flight to Lukla. Trekkers starting the trekking journey from Salleri Phaplu can obtain the permit in Monjo at Sagarmatha National Park Counter. This permits office lies on your trail. Trekkers can obtain a Khumbu Rural Municipality Permit by making a payment of NPR 2,000 per person for the first four weeks. The price of the permit increases to Rs. 2,500 per person beyond four weeks.

Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit: This permit is also available at the Sagarmatha National Park Entry Gate in Monjo and Nepal Tourism Board Office in Kathmandu. For entry into Sagarmatha National Park, foreign nationals must pay NPR 3,000 per person. In contrast, the cost is NPR 1,500 for SAARC citizens and NPR 100 for Nepali.

    Hazzlefree organisation

    Anjan was our focal point in Nepal regarding our transportation. He organised the jeep from Kathmandu to Phaplu and was always available via WhatsApp. We had to change our plans because of the weather and reorganising our return was never a problem for Anjan. We also spent 3 days in Kathmandu upon our return and Anjan was, as usual, really helpful and patient in booking our hotel, transportation and what to visit in busy Kathmandu. I can only recommend Aspiration Adventure (Anjan) for any hazzlefree trek in Nepal. We will definitely be back to explore this beautiful country.

    All in One Travel Service - Phaplu Flight and Jeep

    We booked a flight to phaplu through aspiration adventure, knowing we can booked directly with airlines but choose a local company as it would be easy to know sudden change in flight and make the cancellation or refund process flexible. company looked after the schedule flight twice a weeek, provide us a date and booked us a bothway flight from kathmandu to phaplu and back but on the way back airlines cancel the flight and divert the flight to ramechhap, fligtht from kathmandu was stop but aspiration adventure arranged us a private transportation back to kathmandu at the last minute which was great service. Thank you and We can recommend this company during your visit in Nepal.
