Best Time for Trip
Everest View Luxury Heli Trek can be done throughout the year, but Spring during the month of March, April, May and Autumn Season during the month of September, October, November are regard as the best time for this trip. During these spring and autumn season you will find moderate temperatures and provide better view of mountains, less heat haze cloud and clear views of mountains. Although this trip is achievable during winter and monsoon seasons too, though it is not suitable for everyone. In winter season, the months of December, January and February surrounding along the Hills and peaks are fully covered by snow in the mountains.
Visa Requirements
If you are travelling to Nepal for (tour, sightseeing, travel, trekking, mountaineering, visiting friends and families) then you need to have a visa to enter Nepal. Arrival Visa is available at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu’s where you can simply get the “On Arrival Visa” with the application that require at least a passport of 6 months’ validity, and a passport size photo. You will be charged USD $ 30 for 15 days and USD $ 50 for 30 days as visa application fee which have to be paid in cash on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you do not need a visa (Free Visa). Most visitors will be able to obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport. The Certain country (Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria) are requested to acquire Visa prior their arrival from their local Diplomatic missions (Embassies/Consulates) of Nepal Government.
Permits and Requirements
Every trekkers who are willing to enter Everest Region requires permits which are Sagarmatha National Park entry permit, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit, and TIMS Permit. Please be noted that, you do not have to worry and pay extra for permit. It is organized and provided in the package by Aspiration Adventure – All of these permit are included in cost and our guide will take care of it.
Physical Condition and Experience Requirements
Easy moderate trek suitable for keen trekkers who are willing to get easy trekking experience with helicopter tour in Everest region and make their footsteps. The farthest point on the trek is Kala Patthar 5,545 meters by helicopter so, the chances of altitude sickness are low. You will take an acclimatization hike up to Everest View Hotel and Khumjung Village. If you are physically fit and mentally strong with a determination, then this trek is not as difficult. It is 6 Days itinerary with 3 Days trekking and 1 Days helicopter to Kala Patthar. During the trek there is Full porterage and luxury accommodation service while all there is left to worry about is your water, snacks, and camera. It is suitable for anyone.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is a must for safety reasons. Although this is a lower elevated trek, of course there is some risk. You might need an emergency evacuation in areas where roads and hospitals are not accessible in that case, you need to have a travel insurance. We encourage to travel insurance in your own home country.
Trekking Grade
Everest View Luxury Helicopter Trek itinerary is pretty easier and can be done without previous experience. It is one of the easier luxury trekking experience in Everest Region that can be done from the 12 years young to 75 years old. It is high mountain trekking so reasonable fitness level is required. It is physically quite moderate which involves approximately 5-8 hours trekking along the way.

During your trekking you will stay at standard mountain lodges (Yeti Mountain Home/ Everest View Hotel) and beautiful Dwarika Hotel in Kathmandu. The lodges provide a high level of service with landscaped gardens, comfortable restaurant and staying in en suite rooms with comfortable beds with sheets, blankets, down pillows, hot water bottles and western toilets. You will have spacious rooms, furnished with high quality, modern furnishings but in traditional style rooms provide comfort with charm, modern functionality with Sherpa detailing, a wonderful place to rest and replenish after a day on the trail. In Kathmandu, you stay at the beautiful Dwarika Hotel in Kathmandu. However, Single Supplement can be provided upon request at additional cost.
